996TT Price Advice
Discussion
Looking for a bit of guidance on price, looking at a
September 2002 (52) Turbo, Manual
29K Miles, Full Porsche History, 2 Owners, Basalt black, Black Leather
Not 100% sure of the exact spec. but has Aero kit, Sat Nav, Aluminium Kit, Phone, Etc
It's a private sale, no porsche warranty (expired) but would have to add the price of the inspection + 12 months warranty on top (£870), been offered the car at £54k, bottom line.
Seems like a reasonable price looking around but not a great price? Everyone is saying the prices are in free fall but as the 997 Turbo is still 12 months away with a big waiting list I can't imagine prices getting too much lower in the next 6-12 months?
What do you reckon?

Have you taken a look at the Metropole Blue..... It's virtually black - unless you had a black interior side by side with it you'd be hard pressed to tell.......
oh go on dont be silly have a look in the flesh. I was in the same boat as you, and now have a lovely blue leather 996tt. It give the interor a needed bit of subtle colour.
As I said 54k is good for year spec etc..... OPC price would be 60k+...
Get the 111 point check done, but beware OPC's are known to tell the odd porky......
Apparently Turbo's are trading just above Glasses trade figures at the moment, a standard car books around 51-52k trade - which gives the dealers a nice little profit after prep.....
