Anybody have any experience with them, particularly with their used car sales?
Email me if you prefer.
Many thanks

Email me for my (negative) experiences with them.

I know that Simon Spider uses them for his Murcielago and gives them top marks, as does SteveF with his Testarossa 512M.

I must admit though that I found some of the owner's comments very derogatory, which, as I am looking for a Porsche now, does make me think twice about using them even though they are my closest specialist.

Al, If you are thinking twice about them, then not too much further afield from you heading along the A64 is Malton. Apparently there is a Porsche specialist there who you could use. Run by some JWB character

But seriously, thoroughly recommended!

A good mate of mine on here, MOD500 uses and recommends them but it is quite a hassle getting back if you need to leave the car with them.

I will probably keep with R&D Automotive in Manchester (where I work) as they are Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini specialists and are top drawer.

Having said that, I would like to have a look at Specialist but, was put off a bit when no-one answered my email asking if they knew of any trimmers that could repair my soft top.

I've used both and have been quite happy.

Strasse were very helpful sorting out a minor C4 issue and brakes on a Boxster S.

Specialist Cars in Malton replace the brakes on my current Boxster S --- their price was alittle better this time (Zimmerman discs) and I had spent so much time looking at their cars I felt I ought to give them some busines.

What's wrong with R&D Automotive (of which I've heard good things btw) if you work there but are looking to use somebody else?

It's a while since I used them, but they offered to lend me a car when mine had to stay for a couple of days. Their customer service was excellent.

You can email me by clicking on the link on my profile. I have no experience of their retail servicing though, only vehicle sales.
