Kurgen, Hope you enjoy your new car. Just a point on the wheels, I thought they looked great and I wanted to buy them for my 911tt, OPC (who are always keen to sell stuff) advised against it, as the tt enjoys lighter alloys and therefore the unsprung masses are better, which in turn inproves ride. OPC could be wrong, and the turbo wheel weight thing could have been something that you only found on the 993tt. I know this is there used to be a seperate part number for tt wheel and 'turbo look' wheel.
I have never driven a tt without turbo alloys so I cant compare.
Also, I believe and I could be wrong here, that the tyres are narrower on the rear and wheels have to have spacers fitted, again I could be wrong on both counts.
Anyway, after all that I prefer the look of the 'SportTechno' wheel and seeing as you have bought the Tip anyway - I guess it makes no odds. With all that torque it is kind of like a sledgehammer to crack a nut anyway.

thought the sport technos were hollow spoke and just as light as the std turbos
although I still think the technos look odd being so straight and prefer the std weheels
in fact that car in basalt, with large ali pack, std alloys and no slushmatic would be my perfect motor

Looks like an OPC Burgess Hill car to me.
Nice car, I've driven it. Loads quicker than the RS in the real world.
Seeing as I know them fairly well, I would be interested to hear what they gave you for the RS. But not here, another time.

Replaced your RS yet?
Am intending to keep the TT, hence choice of gearbox!
All my car changes have been track orientated, and am really at the end of the trackday thing.. The cost of tracking with these types of car, is just ridiculous, in relation to the fun had. Might as well just get a licence and race.
