performance improvments for 996 3.4 manual

i've just gone back to a 996 C4 3.4 with some extras such as full GT3 body kit, sports exhaust, K&N filter etc. However thats it as far as performance tweeks go. does anyone have any hints as to how to boost the engine performance without going daft on the bank balance?

Any naturally aspirated car presents challenges when attempting to upgrade the performance.

You can have a generic off the shelf remap which should add around 15 to 18 BHP and similar torque gains.

You can also change the exhausts/cats/headers for a similar gain

The remap is the least expensive route but short of supercharging or twin turbo's around 30 BHP +- is the best you can expect.
