Entering a state of nervousness!

Flew back to Ireland yesterday and picked up a copy of EVO at Stanstead! WOW, nervy's car looked great - even the colour has gone on my shortlist! Have now definitely decided on what I want:
1) pre-facelift C2 99/00/01
2) PSM
3) sound pack
4) Black interior
5) clear lenses/litronics
6) sports exhaust (aftermarket)
Anyone have any other thoughts on the spec? After driving a MICRA hire car yesterday and today it was a pleasure to get back into the Boxster this evening.
Nervous: did the gear shift and alu handbreak come with the car or are they aftermarket? How did you fit the alloy pedels?

hi mate, thats kind, thanks. that said, you seem to have forgotten to rip the piss out of my hair, call me fat and and a poof. if you could re-edit your post that'd be great. we have a standard to keep after all.
Vesuvius996 is actually selling his car and its nearly identical in spec to mine i think. though a bit newer, and possibly a C2. and it might be a tippy. look, i cant remember, but its nice and its the same colour as mine. buy his cos hes got to buy me a curry soon and he'll need all the cash he can get (see the above Fat proviso).
the gear knob and handbrake were already fitted to the car, pretty sure they're standard. i fixed the pedals on by drilling a set of holes in each pedal arm and then nylon bolt'ed them on. plus, you know, some glue for good measure. if a jobs worth doing, its worth adding glue i always say.

not sure i agree with that. as you know my salon is front engined. you only get the sort of frizzy shocked spikes and glazed expression you are sporting when your rear engined beauty suddenly and unexpectedly goes arse-end first into a hedge

BTW Irish I have a set of alloy pedals for a 993 that might fit a 996 (anyone know?) - I decided not to use them so you're welcome to them for, say, half what I paid.
