Anyone know this GT3?
Discussion
Yeah, I think it's Manu's old one. Speak to Manu at Scuderia Systems (think it's www.scuderiasystems.com ). Either that or it's his business partner, Ajay's. He should know something about it anyway. He got rid of it to get a 996GT3RS, that's all. He loved the yellow GT3.

No, but I can tell you that the front discs are worn and the holes are showing cracks. The wheels bolts have also clearly seen a lot of action although the wheels look ok. Did these cars come with 6 pot calipers as std? This car has them.
Interior and exterior look clean.
I'm not yet a punter, I just popped into Maranello's at the weekend for a look around.

...there is a speed yellow, black alloys GT3 MY04 at Maranello Egam for sale. 10k on the clock, comfort spec by the looks of it, with racing seats.
Does anyone know of any history of this car - road/track miles etc?
Thanks in advance for any info
Bruce
That is Manus car after he swapped it for a GT3RS. He never drove it on track and being a business partner of Verdi it will have been extremely well looked after.
PS It also looks the nuts with those black wheels. Never seen a better looking GT3 in my life.
Careful of buying a car under manufacturers warranty from a non porsche dealership. I know someone in the PCGB who bought a porsche under manuf wty from a non porsche franchised dealership. The car went wrong and the warranty wasn't honoured. He took it all the way to Andy Goss etc.
Seems that the warranty would have been honoured if he had bought from a specialist but wasn't in his case as he bought (I think) from a BMW dealership.
If you want to buy the car and value the warranty, i'd get confirmation from porsche that they will hounour the warranty.
Good luck, these are great cars.
Ajit.

Track mileage is not an issue in a GT3 providing it has been properly maintained. What is more important is rev range 2 activity. Get a printout from the ECU and check for rev range 2. It is measured in spark activity, ie; 1 unit = 1 spark. So if the car has say 1000 rev range 2 cycles, the engine spun 166 times over the rev limit
