Hey, you may joke but the old Pinin was a handy bit of kit to have around for the odd trip to the bank or to pick up some bits and it fits in a multi storey car park a dream. We were quite sad to see it go.

The flatnose, whilst not everyone`s cup of tea asthetics-wise is a little peach underneath and a cracking 911 for the money. It`s survived very well over the years (bearing in mind most circa £10k 911`s are pretty much scrap).

I'm quite sure that Henry will, and I'm glad that at least he appreciates it!
I own it's 930 coupe brother, a Dage Sport DS935, built at around the same time for their main sponsor, who had kept it for the past 20 years or so.
In fact, if I had the cash to spare, I'd be pleased to own it.

We`ve had the odd car for over a year in the past, the strange thing is that they often aren`t bad cars, just don`t get the right person for the car and sell everything around it. On the other end of the stick we get the some cars that get into the yard by the skin of their teeth and then sell the next day.

Henry - all in jest of course, and wasn't having a go at the Pinin. A friend has one and he rates it highly too. Obviously that one took a while to go because not many people would look at an independent Porsche specialise if they were in the market for a Pinin! I was just remarking that the flat nose has been around for a long time, and all totally in my humble opinion - I'm not the least bit surprised! It has to be said, though, that if I had the money, I'd buy most of the cars you have for sale! Do you get sick of looking at a certain car after it's been on your forecourt for months on end?

Thanks Alastair...I had a tatty old 3.2 as well (Henry sold it to me!!) I reackon that my current car was one of the longest standing members of 'Henry's Forecourt Statues'...
PS...Henry you should have kept it under cover!!
