But it's still a long way away --- I have the feeling that for Posche it's still an unfinished project

Go to the Porsche Used car locator, select 911(997) and "turbo" comes up as a variant with "2,2S,4,4S".

Car will be shown at Geneva in Feb.

The Porsche dealer in Nottingham has something under a cover in the showroom which looks decidedly like a Turbo - surely they won't have a 996 undercover so I guess it's the new model!

It's due to be officially launched in Geneva in a month or so's time and then production begins in the Summer, so how exactly can the Notts OPC have one?

I really don't know but the profile of the car undercover has a spoiler that looks identical to the 996 Turbo one in shape. Possibly a special 997 Carrera S limited edition - the staff wouldn't tell me!

Production starts in Feb, however there are pre-production models around as all the photos have proven. Maybe the car in Nottingham is a press car just doing the rounds?
