Nabbed at 150MPH in a Boxster

Did you hear today about the 20 year old lad who borrowed his dads Boxster,
found a nice straight road and nailed it - (hit 150mph according to papers).
Then pulled up in front of the Policeman at the end of the road, the one he hadnt spotted.
Apparently the Judge let him off the charge of dangerous driving because the car was capable,
the road was straight, the conditions were fine and their was no other traffic or side roads.
So it wasnt really dangerous driving.
(or something along those lines).
It didnt say if he got banned for speeding which I assume he will have done unless he wasnt charged with that.
What made me laugh was the papers made out the copper was in a Skoda and took offence because it was a Porsche.
