Congrats! Yet another one has seen the light...

I just got my car back from JZ and I told Steve exactly the same requirements. He recommended the "track day setup for road tyres..." The car handles with even sharper turn-in, and you can feel that you can really lean on the car through the bends/corners. The toe is adjusted to allow for squarer/more parallel tyre positioning under hard braking. He promised that wear on the tyres through normal road use is not significantly higher and had a Mk2 with the same setup to demo- let's see...! Car was corner-weighted and the ride height gets checked too (he may tell you that the threads have seized requiring them to be bead blasted and re-greased...)

Good luck

Me too had mine set up last week at JZ. Car now feels a lot more twitchy over the bumpy B roads around the Bromley area. Roads around here too slippery and congested to give settings a proper workout though. Will be at Bedford on Saturday to get some real tracktime experience of the new setup. Oh, and yes I had to have the shocks removed and bead blasted to adjust the spring perches. Suspension now looks as new as the day it left the factory.
