Adjusting rear spoiler on MK1 GT3

I did this to mine last weekend. Once you have taken out the 2 allen key screws, you also need to remove the third screw(the stainless steel one) that holds the flat bit of the spoiler to the upright. The lug can then be removed and positioned in one of the 6 holes. I tried all six, but found the three nearest the front of the car to move the flat bit of the spoiler too far forward, don't know about downforce, it just looked naff. Mine is now on the upper hole of the rear three holes and it looks fine. Note that you do not need to refix the stainless steel screw as the whole shooting match is held in place by the two screws in the flat bit of the spoiler. I'm told it only comes into effect at fairly high speeds so I'm looking foward to seeing what difference, if any, it makes at Bedford on Saturday.

Hi Tif
Shame about Saturday, but I saw that there is a huge reserve list. As you know, I am booked in with Sean. I thought about March 4th but am doing Brands Indy on the 18th Feb and Snetterton on 27th March(Monday). I guess I'll have to give Bedford a miss on the 4th unless I win the lottery - Sean might go though. The SPA trip on April 10th, who's organising? Is it just one day? Great venue but will need an overnight stay probably the day before as the distances are quite long. I do know a nice little hotel though. I might be up for this and will ask Sean if he's interested this weekend.
Regards
Steve
PS Have you changed those brake pads yet?
