1 rear fog light or 2 on a 996?

Hello, I've noticed I only have 1 rear fog light which lights up on my 1998 996. I'm not sure if it should have 2 which simply means a bulb has gone. Does anyone know if you should have 2 rear fog lights on a 996?

Ah, I'll be the Muppet wh's just been to my OPC to buy rear fog lamp to rplace the one thats blown

Only the offside is wired up, which is a problem for lhd cars needing an MOT, but you can get a loom made up.
