trailing arm bush

I have a 2003 boxster S and have a N/S/R trailing arm bush thats worn. The OPC dianosed this after I complained of a knocking noise coming from the rear when driving over a rough road surface. I have also been told that this is not covered under warranty and has been put down to wear and tear. The car was 30 months old and had covered 28,000 miles when this occured. How can this be wear and tear?

Anyone else had a problem of this sort?

Yup Mojo did over on Porsche net, took them ages to find it as well, although I believe
hers was done under warranty.
