2005 Boxter Problems

Since I've had the 997 Boxter 3.2s from July 2005, I still have a problem with the engine. It sounds like: when you are sucking a straw with the last amount of fluid in the glass being sucked up. Porsche have informed me that they are aware of the problem, and said it has something to do with a valve. They told me this in November, and still no word from them. Also the single CD is not working. It won't accept a CD, but tells you it is empty.

Anybody have similar problems with their 997 Boxster.

It's under warranty so don't let them fob you off. They've probably forgotten about you if it was over 3 months ago. Give them a call; it's better than any solidarity here as a few 'yeah mine does that' answers won't have the same effect as dropping it off at an OPC and insisting they fix it.
