Hi

Just a word or warning when getting your new tyres fitted in Ipswich. DO NOT use WILLIAMS TYRE & EXHAUST CENTRE BOSS HALL ROAD IPSWICH. If you do, park your Porsche up the road and roll your wheels and tyres into the unit for them to fit. The "P" word will double your bill. I still saved lots of money buying the tyres onlin. So not all bad.

charge for fitting 3 255/40/17s on my cup1 wheels? £70.50
What a rip off. I gave them a mouthfull for over doubling their prices since I last called in a few months ago. Certainly lost my custom and future profits on my 3 cars two of which are 928s.
I called into a few places while on my way home all were around £12 per tyre for fitting, thats with vat and case disposal!

What a bunch of cks.. Don't they realise, once ripped off, never return.

I've used these in past www.f1autocentres.co.uk/maps/ipswich.htm , very competitive ... Also beaten Colchester OPC down to close specialist prices...

Exactly right. I'll no longer get my cars MoTed there nor will I get tyres fitted in the future. Their loss

Funny really, the last time I went he looked at the P-zeros I was having fitted and said they were not porsche tyres... I later found out they were N rated. Seems they make so much money on selling tyres they can't be bothered with the small profits from fitting internet bought ones. Guessed what he said this time... The same. The tyres I was having fitted were Falken FK451s. Y rated and very good. Who cars about the N1,2,3... rating on an 18year old 928? If it's a Y tyre and has good reviews it's good enough for me.

Called into Lancasters Colchester this morning just to drawl over a few Ferraris.
