996 C4S - values and spec?

Thinking of one of these to replace my 993 C2 at some point.
Any suggestions on when is a good time to buy. Values seem to have been hit recently. Am I likley to get a good one for £40K?

What are the must have options. The only definite for me is the sports exhaust!When were they launched and would early ones have the RMS worry?

Any one out there got one and what is it like to own and use?

AFAIK all 996s have the RMS issue except TTs and GTs.

You should be able to find a 4s for that money privately.

I had an '02 C4S.

It suffered from two RMS leaks.
