Am teetering on the edge of getting a 996 GT2. Looking at 2001 or 2002 Clubsport if poss.
Anyone know of any available privately or one thats been in stock a long while at a dealer ?

As usual I'm on a realistic budget but will be buying "trade" so as seen etc etc

Cheers

Marcus Fothergill have got a 2001 clubsport - think they've had it for a while now....think it's about 55k....
Be carefull with what you pay - bear in mind the limited market for this car. I bought one in sept 03 for £82k which was cheap at the time - sold it a year later for £66k, it has recently been sold on again for £55k - mind you, it went quite easily at that price. Just be wary of paying big money for a later car - they will fall to the same levels.... I think Steve Coles has one at around £59k also - it was on Pistonheads - take a look.

Thanks for quick replies. The Marcus Fothergill car is the same one now at RSJ. Guards is not really my colour.

P4lny the one your friend has at £73k is just too strong for me.

He always claimed on M5board that he just upped the boost a bit and allegedly fitted a larger fuel tank. iirc
