TUBI Style fitted to 996TT
Discussion
Just had a TUBI Style exhaust fitted...
Is much better than I had hoped for. The last one I had was on a Maserati and it was seriously loud, which although good fun was not really ideal when passing horses or small children in quiet Hampshire villages!
This one has a much more aggressive note in comparison to the Maserati but works well as its “quiet” around town but cackles and spits when driven properly!
If you haven’t got one I would strongly recommend it!!
I bought both mine from Manu at Scuderia Systems who is a good laugh for someone in his late thirties!

ROTFLMAO... that is the funniest thing ever
. Poor Manu. He must have been acting like a grown up at the time. He's only just out of kindergarten and his preference in ladies hasn't moved on much since then
From my knowledge Manu is an upstanding member of society.
He has been known to show this trait in many an establishment!

Which Maser did you have as I found the tubi on my maser to bee too loud in the winter especially after a few runs at bruntingthorpe. I use the tt everyday so has to be able to get me to Heathrow at 5am one day and then a good hoon at the weekend.

interesting..... and perhaps for the wrong reasons! I have twice now followed a maserati with PSE out of guildford down the A3 - could it have been you ? not seen it for a while and maybe thats because you upgraded to the TT. I also live in Farnham btw. cheers
Could have been - navy blue. I am inclined to agree - in a way I miss the idle noise on start up (although when cold I swear it literally spits fuel from the back of it throat!) but overall prefer it, especially when flooring as you can feel it through the floor!

I had the 3200. I know what you mean about the noise when cold, especially at 5am. To put it in to context, I would not feel the least bit guilty to drive the TT through a sleepy village in the early hours.... as long as you keep the revs low!

Have you got the dodgy twin pipes with yours....I have and they look poo
I have the pipes (not sure what they are called) that look as if two circles overlap each other.
One thing I have noticed is that before I was getting 0.6 and VERY occasionally 0.7 BAR and now I often get 0.8. Perhaps time to visit the chipping doctors for more....
