Promax decat pipe on 944S2?

I'm considering decatting my S2 with the promax decat pipe, possibly going the whole hog and getting the chip/filter/decat kit. Any have experience of these, or know someone who has?

Any advice would be much appreciated!(emissions,real world performance gains etc..)

take your cat off and the mot is a pain in the b/side you will have to put it back on and then take it off again

You can legally decat any 944 as they were manufactured before the emissions regs were tightened. Infact you can decat any car as long as it will pass the emissions test for that year of car

If your doing the "decat" route then do the lot.. Full Exhaust i mean.+ chip + air filter....
Ive done the lot on my S2 .
It breathes a lot easier. + seems to rev a lot free,er...
Not much more noise either. Which for me is a good thing. As i didnt want a LOUD car....
Also it flew through the MOT as its b4 1992 when they became compulsory....

If you go for a decat pipe dos your car need to be running cleaner than if you kept the cat?
