thats about right for a standard car it may peak slightly highrt time to time...
on a upgraded car it will boos anything up to 1.3 bar and hold approx 1.0 to to 1.2 bar boost.

Octane booster won't increase boost, although it would allow you to run more boost if you modded the ECU to extreme levels. I'd tend to avoid it though, as some compositions apparently have some negative properties (unstable compositions, and potentially not good for the fuel system), and you shouldn't really need it unless you have tuned the car to pretty extreme levels.

If you really want to run octane boost, I'd do some research on which ones are considered ok. IIRC it is the non organic ones that are better.

the only reason i run octane booster is because i can only grt 95 octane which is poverty spec fuel.... millers octane increases it up to 98.....

Fair enough. Assumed you were trying to boost past pump levels.

Dunno if Millers is a good booster though.

I used Millers in my Sti Scooby a few years back but I would need to do some thorough research before letting any octane booster near my 996TT.

I would even wonder if we get 95 octane here.. Quality of petrol varies from each petrol station. I think octane boost is essential!!
