GT3 Mk. 1 Hydraulic jack lifting points

My low entry level hydraulic jack arrived this morning.
£106 delivered, from an e bay dealer.
Looks to be a substantial and well made piece of equipment with a large, hard rubber pad on the lifting saddle.
Having purchased the jack, please can anyone now advise me precisely where the lifting points on a GT3 Mk1. 1 are ?
On my 993 there were 4 shaped recesses for the Porsche jack which was supplied with the vehicle.
Is the 996 series similar or is the GT3 body/floorpan entirely different?

Dan, Give this a go. If it doesn't work, just go to e bay and enter "aluminium jack" in the search box

What's the quality of this jack like? I'm looking for one too and it looks like a good price as long as it clears the Mk1 front spoiler!

Quality appears excellent.
The saddle has a minimum height of 3 1/2 inches. The lip on the front of the spoiler on my Mk. 1 GT3 is 110mm which equals almost 4 1/4 inches so the jack should go under no problem. I have NOT yet had the opportunity to try it out as I don't know where the jacking points are.

Just in passing, you might be interested in the Arcan jack currently on offer at Costco for £54.99 + VAT. 3000Kg capacity, 89mm saddle height, 543mm max lift. Weighs 47Kg.

not sure if this is a restricted area - but strongly recommend become a member of this site anyway (free) - if you're serious about DIY on your Porsche, then this is THE place to find out the technical details. It is US based, but a high percentage of guys on there are from the UK ... :-)
