Octane boosters ??

Hi Everyone,
Need some advice,
My nearest optimax garage is approx 25 miles away so have been filling with Esso 97 ron, i was wondering if i need to put any additives with my fill ups to raise the octane level as it says on the filler cap 98 ron.
Also i'm having the car lowered by 30mm and my indy said they would do a laser alignment aswell is this the same as a geometry set up.
