After washing the car, I took it out to "dry the brakes". I ended up going a little further than planned, and dug out some fairly nice roads. Plenty of them were spoiled by people who think the national speed limit is 45mph, but hey ho, early on a Sunday morning they would be glorious. I managed to scare myself a couple of times, but nothing too serious. Driving with the windows down is nice, it feels a lot more visceral. Chilly though.

What a great morning's drive, it cheered me right up.

Anyone else get any good driving in?

Had to go shopping today (don't forget Tuesday is the 14th). No speedy stuff, but driving through town I also succumbed to having the windows down. Ah the sound of 350 horses bouncing off buildings

Yep, I planned to go for an extended spin yesterday (Sunday) but the weather in Surrey was shite so I left her in the garage

Yep. I took the 996tt out around the back roads in Norfolk with the lad since rest of the family were doing something boring. Had a great drive even though it was pouring rain and standing water. Stopped somewhere nice for lunch.

What a car. What a roast lunch.

Never owned a car I just went out for a drive in for no reason. Bikes, yes but not cars.
