Can anyone please advise me about the best solutions available? I have been using a RoadAngel 2 in my Mitsubishi Evo VIII FQ300 but it does not sit well on the dash and requires a cigar charger lead.

There must be a better way to avoid licence damage....

Thanks,
Nick

The Valentine One is still pretty much the daddy when it comes to laser/radar detectors (as opposed to GPS systems). It sticks to the windscreen so you shouldn't have any problems with where to fix it on the dash.

I have one, teamed with an Origin B2 for stuff like SPECS cameras that the V1 doesn't detect (perhaps a touch of overkill though, having upwards of a grand's worth of ECM kit at RRP prices! ), and it has saved my bacon on a number of occasions.

RA2 now comes with a recharchable internal battery that lasts for a week, so no dash wires. Fits fine in a 997S.

I have a roadpilot in mine just behind the gear lever and it looks neat and small.
