I hate new rubber day, having to wear in new tyres is a pain, I still miss my Conti N1's.. .. .. .. the N2's I have now dont give as much grip and seem to eonvoke rear end sliding as part of their nature, the N1's didn't slip unless you where in trouble, I prefer the N1's

strange its not the same on my motorbike, 5 mins out of the local dealer I was knee down wearing them in with confidence, the 911 is my fisrt car but the lack of grip on 4 new tyres is very noticable compared to the motorbike, 100 miles after the new tyres where on the 996 and I could still notice the lack of grip.. .. .. suppose they where not the same tyre but I was taken back by the difference.

Just got some new fronts on mine.

Just nicely worn-in rears with brand spanking fronts is an "interesting" experience...still they'll all be scrubbed in nicely before the track day season starts...
