Now i understand if you do a lot of town/city driving that the Tip makes more sense but im looking at this from wanting to own a turbo. I have had a porsche in tip and manual and i think the boxster was a more enjoyable car because it was a manual and i felt like i was driving the car a lot more than the tip 911. Also i want to start doing track days so i think once again the manual maybe the better car. If you buy a tip because you do all town/city driving whats the point of buying a turbo? Any thoughts....

you choose a turbo for the speed ,so why slow it down with a tiptronic box

thats what i was kind of thinking(996). Even though the new one is quicker 0-62 as tip is it quicker up to 100 as well?

I would have thought the manual is cheaper too.

ok so what do you think this will upgrade the 997 tt too, considering its already 480bhp and roughly what does it cost?

Yes but do you live in central london? To so the school run here (or shopping) you will not get out of second gear. And you'll get scraped by an XC90 !

so this x50 pretty much makes it a S, do you get upgraded brakes aswell. Did you really need the upgrade for the school run? couldnt you have just left 5 minutes earlier could have saved you 8 grand.
