Can anyone help? My rhs high beam headlamp has failed. After replacing the bulb (which didn't work) I've been in the fuse box with a circuit tester. This tells me that I have no power on fuse number 4....anyone had anything similar? I'm reluctant to start stripping off a fuse box as I KNOW it'll just cause more problems!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry, not quite clear, has your high beam only failed or is the whole dipped beam/high beam bulb on one side not working? I take it you are talking about the flip-up unit, rather than the bumper mounted high-beam aux. lamp?

Its jus the high beam element of the right hand popup, and there is no current in the fuse box for the right hand highbeam popup. Thanks for your time

hi did you say u had some dash bulbs out some weeks ago. because on my 944 my dash lights went out i had a 11 amp short somewhere behind the dash and it burnt out the light switch and gave the same type of fault so check the switch as well as the fuse boad

The dash fuse went years ago im still stuck :S
