brake pads for GT3? (sorry!)

I'm sure this has been done to death, but I can't find much when I search the archives.
Can someone tell me the best front pads to get for trackdays/fast road work for Mk2 GT3?
Not really vicious pads that destroy discs or need ages to warm up or that coat the wheels with c**p, just good ones that won't fade for a while.
Also where to get them.

I got pagid rs29s for mine - seem to be fine from cold, sometimes squeak a bit but brilliant on track and road.

Disc wear - done 7 trackdays on them and 8000 miles - std discs now showing cracks - not joining up yet.

RS29s are indeed amazing, but I find my discs only last about 4 track days before they're done for. Quite annoying really, as I only go through one set of pads before replacing the (front) discs! I have been working on my braking technique recently, so have come to the conclusion it is the extreme ambient temperatures out here in Dubai that are not helping with longeivity. (Sounds like an excuse for lack of talent to me )

For this cost reason alone, I'm going to go with something less extreme next time, and work on the technique a bit more.

I bet you still have the standard Porsche cross drilled discs? Give Parr or JZ a call and ask them nicely to ship you some Alcons (JZ) or Brembos (Parr).. they last MUCH longer and don't crack. As you say tho - the ambient temps probably aren't helping.

RS-19's are easier on discs... Not much difference in RS-29
