993RS Windscreen

Is this a normal 993 windscreen ? Got a large crack in the bottom left hand corner from a gritting machine on the motorway.

The front screen on the RS is the same as on other 993's.
It's the rest of the glass that's thinner.
They didn't make the front screen thinner for safety reasons.
