changing tyres (track days) and geometry

if you have paid several hundred smackers at your OPC for geometry and then you change the tyres, does this upset the geometry and necessitate a re-do?

i'm thinking of my track-day fellow PHers who drive to the track on one set, change for track and change back again afterwards.

I have a feeling that the geometry settings to get the best out of a set of Michelin Cups and Pirelli Corsa's are different. Speak to Steve McHale at JZMachtech, he will advise you.

However, if you are just talking about different types of road tyres then I would agree with Kiko.

My understanding is the same Paul.. JZMachtech did the geo on my MkII GT3 recently and you can visibly see the difference if you stand back and look at the car. BTW - it was set up to use Corsas.
