It is switchable to a quieter mode too. Shame about the price, albeit the US importer is charging double what the Japanese retailer retails them for...

nice, but.....
the most impressive thing about it, is that it is just LOUD !!
The actual sound isn't that fab IMO, think the Manthey sounds sweeter TBH
(but i would wouldn't i)
Not heard the manthey, but I just love this one. Titanium too so nice and light despite all the pipework.
I can't have a manthey anyway as then I can't do trackdays. This might be viable though since it is switchable.

Bedford, Castle Combe and Goodwood are the only ones you would have a prob with.
Bedford is a great place to learn your car, but once you have done that, it soon becomes a bit dull.
Never done C Combe
Goodwod is boring, as only 5 cars on track at a time.
Silverstone, Brands, Donnington, Oulton Pk all no problem.

I thought Donny was pretty strict, so that surprises me. Might be able to manage without Bedford once I can drive better, although I'm not hugely enthused with ruling out tracks. Whilst I find Bedford pretty boring having been quite a bit, its nice to be able to focus on what I'm doing with the car rather than worrying about learning a new track at the same time.
If that other exhaust was cheaper I'd definitely give it a go. Switching from normal system to a completely straight through one with a switch has to be the perfect solution! I don't doubt in 'F1' mode that it would be too loud for any track

Incredibly sad geekery I know....
...but the 2nd video (standing start) is now the ringtone on my phone.![]()
Took a bit of hacking to get it there mind you
Any chance you'd share it?
Well with my phone all I needed to do was convert the audio to a mono WAV file of suitable sample rate etc.
So here are a couple for you, the first one is 524 KB, the second is lower quality 143 KB. My phone's a Treo 650 and the sound is pretty damn good when someone calls me
PM me if you have trouble with these links, they're on my network but if you can see the pics in my profile you can download these WAVs.

Hope this helps!!

Thank you very much! I downloaded the first one and it sounds great on my Motorola V3.
(ps: that supercharged 993 engine must make a rather fine noise as well, doesn't it?)
Oh yes. The Cargraphic pipes have loosened up a bit now, makes a vicious crackle on the overrun as well, been blasting around in it all morning and it sounds *gorgeous*
Even had some old guy in an Audi RS6 pull up alongside, wind down his windows and rev his engine so I'd rev mine up.... like two schoolkids but he must have been near 50 and I'm 31... Apologies to anyone else in Sevenoaks town centre this morning for the antisocial noise
