Hi Everyone
I need a little help. Just got a Boxster S with PCM (the DVD based one) car is only 9 months old. The manual says you can play MP3 files from a CD by simply inserting it in the slot/changer. Having burnt a disc I get an error message when trying to play it in the car "no audio CD"

I'm guessing it has to be in a specific format and I'm not creating it in the right way.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I'd be amazed if you had to do anything other than put the MP3's in the root of the disc. Perhaps making sure the CD is 'closed' to further writing before you try it...? Also, some players, although they will read a DVD, will only read a CD with MP3's on.

Make sure the files are MP3 format. If you're using Apple i-tunes they're AAC or others might be MP4, WAV etc.

As the other poster said firstly try playing files from teh root of the CD and if that works try putting into folders and see if that will work.
