How much to spray a 993 bonnet?

Can anyone give me an idea of how much I should expect to pay to have a 993 bonnet (front compartment) sprayed? I've got a replacement bonnet (original is dented, don't ask how!!!!) but it's the wrong colour so need to get it sprayed to match.
A breaker I spoke to reckoned it shouldn't cost more than £90, but this seems very cheap. I have some experience of cheap paint jobs in the past and they're not a pretty site.
Can I just drop it off, give them the paint code and expect it all to match up or should I let them have the car too so they do a better job of matching the paint on the wings/front PU?
Any reccomendations for a good bodyshop to actually do all this in the Herts/Bucks area?

I don't have the answer to your question, but perhaps it would help others to answer if you mentioned what colour you need to paint it (especially if metallic or solid colour).
I'd be very suspect of any bodyshop taking one panel off you (such as the bonnet) and promising that it will match, usually they'd need to spray the bonnet and wings to blend the colour into the car. Even using the correct paint code I would have thought it would still be a slightly different tone to the other paintwork on the car.

I had my 993 bonnet and front PU painted Midnight Blue (stonechip damage) a couple of years ago by Autofarm and didn't get much change out of £2000, they did an excellent job though. The adjacent panels will need to be 'blended' to get a good colour match.

£90 sounds very optomistic as I was told not to expect much change out of a grand for a bonnet, PU and wing blend.
Specialised paintwork in Reading have a good reputation too (no affiliation etc).

SprayTech in Cirencestsr did a fantastic job on my TT to remove the stone chips on the front PU and bonnet.
They took off the front PU , sprayed it separately off the car. Stone chips removed from the bonnet after which it was all blended in with the wings. They also replaoced a cracked plastic intake below the number plate for an all in price of £560 inc VAT.
They also had a long standing relationship with Ferrari dealership MHT to do their body/spray work , so they have a good reputation.

Arse!! when did this happen? where was the car left?
It's mentioned in this months (April '06) Fast Fleet.
Took the car down to Langley Autocraft in Kings Langley (recommended by JZM and 911Virgin and less than a mile from my house).
They've quoted £290 to paint and fit the replacement bonnet.
This doesn't include blending the wings or front PU, they say black is an easy colour to match.
To do the full job (i.e. paint new bonnet, remove and paint front PU, blend wings, replace all seals/rubbers) they quoted £1009.
Just gonna get the bonnet done for now and hope it matches well.
