RX-8 v 924S

Drove my dads RX-8 on sat alot faster and better looking than my 924S and miles better round the bends! Despite all this and I never thought Id say this, but I prefer driving the porsche! I felt far more connected to the road and the car. Shows driving isnt all about 0-62 times. I think im starting to understand what some of you are talking about when you say you only buy porsches! I still dislike the 911 tho :P

You're comparing a new car with one with 20year old suspension/bushes. I'm sure some nice matched tyres and refreshed suspension would probably close that gap up

I dunno those RX-8s corner like flies! I have goodyear hydragrips on it and they really help it in the wet

Drove an RX-8 around Thruxton,undoubtedly a very competent car in all areas but would of preferred to have been driving my 944.I like the rawness of the 944(2.7)as opposed to the silky smoothness of the RX-8.

I sold my RX8 so i could buy a Boxster S and i have no regrets. The RX8 Was a fun car to drive but The Porsche hadles and drives much better.

Also the RX8 Re sale value is very poor the dealers have too many pre registered models on there forecourt so they dont have much interest in used cars. As for other dealers they didnt really want to part ex either
