944 cooling thermoswitch.. AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

All,

MY sodding thermoswitch has locked itself on again so when i came out this morning the fan was wurring round non-stop..

This happened back in Dec when the car was outside during a cold night, and i replaced the thermoswitch in the radiator, but having had to leave it out last night, and it having snowed, its jammed itself on again..

I can change it again but im worried thats not the root cause.. Any ideas would be great.. I dont know if the cold is affecting battery output or something..

Any pointers please!!!
