Right chaps, had a call from Chris Harris of GT Purely Porsche this morning saying the Bruntingthorpe event is on. Sometime in the next 6-8 weeks subject to weather/our availability. From our memories GuyR and I have the following participants down, could you post a reply confirming when you are/are not available?

Bergmeister (Paul I've got loads of Porsche's...) - Standard 993GT2
IMOM (Russell) - Weltmesiter'd 993GT2
993RSR (John) - Weltmeister'd 993 GT2
GuyR (Guy) - Ruf'd 996 GT2
Agent Orange (The old(est) statesman of 993 GT2's Vic) - Rooked 993 GT2 Clubsport
TB993TT (Toby) - 993TT RWD RS Tuning
PaulMc (Paul Mc - purveyor of fine horseless carriages) - *TBA* (I know what it is Macca but want confirmation it's ok to spill the beans)
De'r (Simon) - Weltmeister'd 993TT
MOD500 (Martyn) - RS Tuning modded 993TT
Leon S (Leon) - Ruf 993 TurboR lightweight

Please remember, it's a friendly and jovial event let's just have some fun.

I'll update you with further information as and when.

JC

JC you mentioned Chris Harris of Purely Porsche, rather than Autocar....does that mean it will be a sponsored event with a full magazine article to follow? Or is it a private event to find out what we have all been wondering on the tuning front for years?

Sounds great - can I come if I change the badge on the back of mine to GT?

I'd like to spectate to if possible - Brunters being one of the places that doesn't happen to be hundreds of miles away...

I would be very interested if there is a chance to spectate..

If not, surely the windscreens will need wiping off before each run! [putshanduptovolunteer]

I thought Flamespitter was up for this. He has his mad ex-Prodigy Riviera blue 993 GT2 (with pukka race parts/brakes and 600 BHP I think), and the 993 GT2 Konrad race car. I will e-mail him and alert him to this thread.

No prob, I have just sent him an e-mail. I think he's a bit knackered from skiing, so we'll wait and see!

I'm not sure if it was his or Liam Howlett's. Aren't they both car nuts? Didn't one of them have a TVR Speed 12 on order at one time?

Is this day of frivolity due to happen in the week or on a weekend?

I would have big problems doing a week day; no one to mind my whippet for me. W/e's are fine.

Any time after the w/e of 1st / 2nd April suits me.

Kind Regards

Martyn.
