I would like some feedback on the combination.

I've tried the short shift vs. standard. Well worth getting imho. Not tried the -20 option, but would certinaly not go for PASM. I didn't get on with sport mode on a bumpy test track. Might be okay on smoother roads, dunno.

I own a -20mm and would always recommend it over a PASM car. On mine I don't have the short shift but I have tried it and yes it was excellent and a cheap mod as well.

I'm afraid I can't comment on the combination, but in isolation the short-shift is superb. Not sure why this would be any different on a PASM or non PASM car?

I had a short shift retro fitted to my 996tt and so have experienced before and after. Initially the short shift is stiffer than the standard one but after it wears in, its so much better and provides a much sharper gear change. Its great regardless of whether you have -20 or not.
