Hi, I used Dave to rip out old alarm and he did a spot on job on my 944.
Previously I'd paid another company to do it and add a 2nd alarm, they however left half the old in so I had battery draining and other intermittant elec probs :-(
Dave popped round on a Sat morning and managed to correctly remove the old faulty one in less than an hour.
If I needed any elec work on my car I would go to him.
No experience of scorpion alarms, mines a clifford, and i would neither recommend for or against it. Read into that what you will ;-)

My only experience of SCorpion was on my ALfa 75 where it was a standard UK fit.
Their customer service was less than sparkling when I needed a new plip, but now experiencing the same with Meta on the 944 so .....
Otherwise it was fine as an alarm.

Dave fitted a Cat 1 alarm in my 911... Three weeks ago some little gits smashed the offside window right outside my front door in the middle of the night and made off with the Road Angel.

Alarm didn't go off - loads of glass and a £300 bill for repairs (haven't bothered with a new RA yet).

No reason given for the alarm not going off.

Ya pays ya money and takes ya choice!

i purchased my 993 recently which only has the "stick the key into the hole" immobiliser and no RCL, my local fitter offered to disconnect the Porsche immobiliser and fit a Toad Ai606 cat1 alarm for £249, I dont know how the Toad stacks up against the Scorpion.
