porsche 911 996 carrera 2 or 4 difference

hi, apart from the 4 is the newer version/clear head lamps unless converted...
is there any other difference between the 2 or the 4? Thanks In Advance

The main difference is how many wheels are driven.....

Much smaller boot in the 4 and its a bit heavier at the front

Ones 2wd the others 4wd
.........different shells as c4 needs to accomdate fwd gubbings upfront.....black caliper paint on C2....silver paint on C4 as with black carrera badge on c2..guess what colour on the 4....silver......
996 C4 available from sep '98 had fly by wire and psm as standard.....where as not fitted on c2...became a c2 option later on.

Drive both and make your mind up. I did and preferred the 2. To be honest the 2 has such excellent poise and grip I never undertood why anyone would opt for the 4. All IMHO...
