I noticed this website a while back, its in german, but they did good deals on seats for 996 style seats. Worth a look anyhow.

Either that or start a new thread ' good time of year to change my seats?'
(sorry Domster , couldn't resist!)

LOL, yes, I thought I'd get some gyp for that. Personally I have an issue with any thread that has 'wanted' or 'for sale' in the header. That's what gives the forum a classifieds feel that we want to avoid. I may edit the post to reflect this.

Keep an eye on EBay, they do drop up quite frequently, although usually covered in leather.

Got 20 carbon replicas coming in sometime in the next month or so; VERY high quality, and we can trim them in leather. Prices TBA, but estimate £800 each in leather and £500 in fabric. www.advancedcarproducts.com

And what the feck does that mean?!!!

Just because a wanted ad hasn't worked doesn't give you the right to post 'wanted' thread titles in the forums. If you 'can't get over' this point you'll find you'll get much less leeway in the future. Cheeky barsteward.

Dave

Here's a pair on ebay. OK so they need to be recovered but I'm sure sure you can get that done in Nomex throuh Southbound. Given their condition you should be able to get them for a pretty low price.

I tried desperately to get just plain shells last year. I ended up buying nearly new seats in leather and then getting them re-trimmed. Cost the best part of £3 big ones.
What a difference a year makes

Cheers lads, better response than the wanted ad in the "classifieds", just be careful when you go looking for "help" finding things on the forum.

Just word your posts accordingly, ie not in classifieds style. You'll see I edited the thread title to one that is acceptable. I hope this shows you what you can and can't get away with. Maybe if you had started it with HELP PLEASE and explained that your wanted ad in the classifieds hadn't worked then there wouldn't have been a problem.

Oh, but of course, it's all the nasty moderators fault! Silly me! What a bunch of killjoys we all are.
