Central locking beep on an 03 996 C4

Does anyone know if it's possible to have the car beep when you lock it with the R/C central locking?

If it beeps it means something is not closed properly eg the glove box or little box between the seats.

If you click twice, quickly, it beeps. Its also definitely locked.

To save me digging the book out, what is it doing?

What everyone said, something left open, usually the box between the front seats.

Or the contact on the radio head unit.

I never take the radio head off, so if that triggers a beep, it could be that.

But is one click locked and two clicks locked and alarmed? Or something else?

One click is safe locking. The car can be unlocked with the key, but not the internal handles. Two clicks within one second; the vehicle is not accessible from the outside, but can be unlocked via the internal handles.

(I've only gone and found the entire Porsche 996 factory manual set in PDF format while looking for that )
