does any one no the dme relay number on a 89 2.7 944
The part number got updated when the old 944 relay was replaced for the 993, they are now both the same. You won't get a new DME beginning with the part # 944, but you can get them for about £20, they normally begin with 993. Usual sources, Promax being just one. Always handy to have a spare one in your glovebox!
However, for posterity, the# of my old DME relay (1986 944 turbo) is:
944.615.227.00
Sorry, can't be arsed to look under the bonnet for the 993 relay number!
993-615-227-00-M76
