1st time on this track, and totally enjoyed it.
Takes a few leaps of faith to get used to weightlessnes of some sections, but when it comes
together, it's very rewarding.
Very good standar of driving by most drivers, making the effort to indicate to let you past, but
you still get the odd one who forgets what mirrors are for.
Don't think i'd fancy it in the wet though.
Think a few cars never made it on track due to static test.
Sun even came out in the afternoon.

Bussin??? Not me 3rd lap after 2 warm up laps me engine let go in a big way in my E30 M3! After posting and goading you "beetle" owners on....typical! It got worse my brother brought his 700BHP Skyline and the head gasket blew, so I spent most of the day in my son's black 205 GTI. He had a great day and drove really well for his 1st ever track day and has only been driving 12 months.
You guys were pretty quick but he had the odd tussle with some 911s and thouroughly enjoyed his day. I am booked to go to the Ring at Easter so it's going to be touch and go if I can get the car ready in time.
And if you are reading this Darren (Whitechimp) thanks for lending me your tools and power steering fluid.

2nd visit to Oulton for me - great circuit. First time in my new (to me GT3) fantastic day & as Glenn says - generally good driving.
Vic's new Orange GT2 is just astounding - the brakes take the p1ss. Truly lovely car & very nicely driven
- but Vic, you defo don't need to lift up Clay Hill.
Great session towards the end of the day keeping "Uncle Ron" behind me in his GT3 MR & the last half hour was magic - lovely sunshine & almost no traffic. I had 4 absolutely clear laps on the trot - which was nice

I was nice meeting fellow petrol heads. Some of the machinery was very nice and all you were very friendly.
Very good standard of driving by most drivers, and thanks for lifting as I passed. This made my day enjoyable and never felt frustrated all day. I have done a Caterham only day were some just will not let you pass even if you are going quicker through the bends. So thanks a gain.

First time at Oulton - lack of run-off does sharpen the mind a bit and a beautiful setting. Fantastic day.
Vic - what a car! I had a stiffie as we left the pit lane and a grin to match at the end. Thanks again for the ride....
Great to put a lot of names and faces together.
Good driving manners and great weather.... the final sessions were brilliant...
(I wonder what else we can say to make Doc sick as a parrot???)

I was there and had a few laps in Matthew Bowmans 964RS ad I fookin LOVED IT!!!
Felt slightley car sick at the end but nontheless loved it. I was the bald guy wearing the LeMans jacket.
Top day out with fellow petrolheads. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did.

I was a fantastic day, took me a while to get use to the track but what a fantastic track! I hope I didn't get in too many people's way, fantastic machinary all over the paddock! A very very beautiful RHD Speed yellow 993 RS I just couldn't stop taking photos of!
Tried to hae a chat with Paul (Howells) about 993 RS but each time I come over you're either out on track or not around your car, hope I'll catch you next time.

Yep, great enjoyable day, what a brilliant track (my new UK favourite track) and luck with the weather. I thought there were no prisoners being taken ystdy, more competetive than PCGB days, enjoyed some good dicing around which was a bit red mist but i hope we were on the right side of the line..
Vic - the GT2 looks even better in the flesh than on camera - you know what you've got to do to make it a true lightweight package......
Good to see so many familiar faces - and some new ones.
Mel - i nearly didnt recognise you with that goatie, suits your more mature image

Top day....track was in fine form, only a couple of minor incidents which sort of broke the day up nicely and only one knob head.
Escort going around spraying petrol (because he forgot to put the cap back on)
was black flagged and flashed (several times by me) but still insisted on chucking the car around and throwing gallons of fuel over following cars.
Had a great couple of dices with a red GT3 and bronze one... great stuff and followed the 996 Cup car around for a few laps - great to watch it through the corners.
Those RS' are very quick... had to wring the neck of the turbo muscle to get past....
Brakes were impressive but the PCCB's on the back probably have only one run left...the front alcons were massive and i cannot believe hgow little pad wear there is.

Bronze!!! I think you mean Zanzibar what surprised me was how well your 996 GT2 handled didn't seem anything between the cars through the corners & with the extra horses its a fast car, pat on the back for top driving, 1st 996 GT2 that I have seen driven that well.
What a brilliant day. 
It was the first time for me at Oulton, and it is a FABULOUS circuit. The latter half of the day was brilliant as the circuit cleared for some clear runs in the afternoon sun. Old Hall Corner (just before the pitlane exit) was brilliant fun getting the car settled into nice 4 wheel drifts... ... except for the one time I lifted! 
Lodge corner ranks with Paddock Hill at Brands... Overall, an excellent technical circuit that demands but also rewards.
Had a few problems running Rossos on the back... they just didn't match well with the Corsas on the front (I was being a cheapskate using up the Rossos!)... as they consistently melted after the 5th consecutive lap throughout the day.
Will definitely be making the return there. Next time will be with the new brakekit and Corsas on the back!
