Right, so i decided a want a black 996 targa. I find a dealer with one in stock. And get oh so close to putting the 'refundable' deposit down, but bottled it because its slightly higher than my intended budget, and i still havent been told the bonus, so actually, the budget doesnt exist...

Thing is, ive also decided i want tiptronic... has this rubbed off on me and made me all sensible in wanting to wait?!!?

in my experience the budget is never enough.. You have to love the car or else the bills will get you (school fees or service you have to sacrifice my son). but once you have made the leap you'll never regret it. Took me six months to part with the cash for my 993 and it's the only car I havent got bored of in 6 months. GO FOR IT
