Centre console

Hi, does anyone know if I could simply get my centre console sprayed silver. Is that all porsche do? Or is the aluminium console look a different material. Its in a 987 Boxster just in case it matters

plastic primer and spray it silver, porsche do a lot of interior colour codeing at the import centre even if you spec it from new ,had a tour couple of years ago in reading unbelievable how many things are done in this country even when you spec it from new colour codeing/clock facias etc

Thanks for that, might see if I can get down there and find out what they use. I'm sure that will be much cheaper than ordering one through Porsche.
