Mk2 GT3 tyre sizes on a MK1!!??
Discussion
Excellent tyre. Whereas the Rossos pushed on through many corners and just go off after 4-5 laps (Bedford/Oulton), the Corsa Direczionales effectively dialed out the understeer completely. Worth noting, but on both sets of tyres, the geo was setup to the same trackday (road tyre) settings by JZ immediately prior to going out on track. I haven't had the chance to use the Corsa Direczionales in the wet yet, but I went with these instead of the Corsa Rs because I do use the car on the road in sometimes unpredicatable conditions.
The only problem is finding a matching tyre in 285 for the rear... I am thinking that the 295 Corsa Assimetricos may make the car feel over-tyred though... not sure, but I am tempted to give them a try.

I have not heard of anyone running 295/30/18's on the rear of a MK1 they would fit on the rims OK but I would guess the rear arches would need rolling like the MK2 & RS for them not to rub.
Interesting - I wasn't aware that the Mk2/RS arches were rolled in comparison to the Mk1... are the panels even the same?
