I have being advised that my 964 Front wishbone mounts are on there way out and wondered whether anyone had tried the Powerflex bushes. If so, do you rate them over the original's.

Also anyone recommend a specialist (in the South) who has fitted them.

Many thanks in advance.

Andy.

This thread discussed 993 ones, but I believe 64 ones are the same (but don't quote me on that !)

I have some on order from powerflex. They have been that way for almost a month. Be prepared for a bit of a wait!

I have the poly bushes on my 993 turbo. Didn't really notice any difference once they were fitted.

Interesting Silver933tt (is that you Gordon lurking by chance?) - how knackered were the originals you swapped out?

Who's Gordon? Certainly not me

Well, when I had the car PPI'd, it was noted that the bushes did have some splits in them but that it was normal on these cars and wasn't a real cause for concern. When I had my Bilstein HDs installed, I had the wishbones replaced while 'they were in there'.

Sorry, for the Gordon ref, just that a friend has a Silver 993TT and I just stupidly assumed it was him.

Many thanks for the response anyway.
