janspeed exhaust logo - where'd that come from??

Ive had a janspeed exhaust from ESS on the car for over 6 months now. I remember giving it a very critical once over when it arrived because it was round and the insert in the rear bumper is more oval shaped. but i got used to it.
Dunno if its relevant but last week the OPC gave me a courtesy valeting and wash (thanks btw). again i dodnt notice much odd. today i looked at the exhaust and written across the top of the exhaiust tip in big bold black letters is "Janspeed".
a) i dont like it, spoils the shiny stainless steel. in fact i think its tacky, horrible and really naff
but
b) i SWEAR it wasnt there before. Unless those pesky rats have started signpainting? so where did it come from? really really weird
