I'm going to be in Stuttgart next weekend and wouldn't mind popping over to Ruf for a look around if I get some free time. Anyone know roughly how long it would take me to get down to Pfaffenhausen from Stutgart?

Cheers

Couldn't tell you how long the journey takes. However, if you do make it could you try to get them to impart when they will have developed an engine power upgrade and a LSD for the Cayman

Have some money burning a hole in my pocket and a few more horses and a LSD would appear to be an ideal pair of bed mates for the new toy

I have done Ruf to Stuttgart Airport many a time, and it really does depend on the traffic. The autobahn is so much fun, when it is clear it can take 50mins or so.

Ruf arent normally open on the weekends though, so it would be best if you dropped them a line info@ruf-automobile.de and find out whens best to pop over.

Regarding the ruf cayman, they are putting a 380bhp Supercharged 3,4 in the little car, so should be quite interesting...

all the best

Oh dear.....sounds like it'll be a bit expensive but haven't heard a bad word on anything Ruf have developed as yet. Guess I'll just have to wait and see and keep my money locked up for a while

It's 290 miles from Nurburg to Pfaffenhausen and it's mostly autobahns.

Timewise it depends on your chosen speed and time of the day but 3 - 5 hours would a good spread (3 would be really really pushing it and only when the roads are empty, 5 would be for a normal daytime journey as Flemke said). I've left Nurburg before and got to Stuttgart (which is 200 miles of the journey) in 1.75 hours, but that was leaving at 6am on a weekend in a 993RS and holding 200-220kph all the way with no stops.
