Hi,
I've just joined the board, so the first thing is 'hello', but I thought I'd start with a question:
I've just finalised the spec on my next car a 997 C2S which is due for delivery in a month or so (after having just sold a 997 C2 I owned for a year). I went with Basalt Black, with a Black interior, but I have also spec'd the car with black wheels (standard fit 19"
. I thought it was a little out of the ordinary, but apparently it's not that unusal. One of the Porsche GB press cars has the same option with ceramic brakes. I buy my cars from Reading and whilst there, had the chance to have a look at the press car, it looked fantastic.
So here I sit, feeling very happy with my long considered choice, but is there anyone out there with their wheels in black, that has any tales of woe about the option or any tips about caring for them? Am I going to live regret my choice? I really hope not, but does anyone with experience of them have any top tips for me?
